Privacy at GEENA Marketplace

Notice at collection: GEENA collects your email, ZIP, home details, dates and notes to send your request to up to 5 cleaning businesses you pick or we match, show you their quotes and prevent fraud. We share it only with those businesses and our service providers. We don't sell it or share it for ads. Requests are deleted or anonymized after 180 days.

What we collect

• Your email, to send your code, your quotes and updates about your request.
• The ZIP code and city of the home. Never a precise location.
• Home details: bedrooms, bathrooms, size, type of cleaning, how often, add-ons and pets.
• Dates and time of day, the language you want the business to speak, and your notes.
• When you choose or book a business: your name, phone (optional) and address. These go only to that business.
• A salted hash of your device's IP address, to stop fraud and abuse. We don't store the IP itself.

Why

• To send your request to up to 5 businesses you pick or we match, and show you their quotes.
• To book the business you choose and let it contact you about that cleaning.
• To prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and to keep the Marketplace fair.

Who gets it

• The businesses you ask or choose. This is a disclosure you direct, not a sale.
• Our service providers: hosting and database, email delivery, and Stripe when a deposit applies.

We don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There are no ad pixels or third-party trackers on Marketplace pages.

How long we keep it

• Requests are deleted or anonymized after 180 days. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days.
• After you choose a business, it keeps your details in its own records under its own policy.
• Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe.
• Problem reports are kept for safety records. The email on a report is deleted 24 months after GEENA handles it.

We don't ask for sensitive information. Please don't write health information or door, gate, lockbox or alarm codes in notes.

GEENA Marketplace is for people 18 or older.

GEENA doesn't sell or share your personal information. You can still record an opt-out, ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it.

• Know and access the personal information we have about you.
• Correct it or delete it.
• Opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising. We don't do these, and we honor Global Privacy Control.
• Appeal our answer: reply to it and a different person reviews your request.

• California: this page is our notice at collection. We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't use sensitive personal information.
• Connecticut and New Jersey: we honor universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.
• New York and Massachusetts: we keep only what the request needs and limit who can see it.
• Everywhere else: the same rights and choices apply to everyone who uses GEENA Marketplace.
