How GEENA Marketplace works

• Each price comes from the business's own price list, for the home you described.
• The same home details get the same price for everyone. Your ZIP, device or name never change it.
• The price includes the cleaning, the type of cleaning, pets, the add-ons you chose, the minimum and the travel fee when the business has one.
• Prices are shown before tax where applicable. In some states the business may add sales tax.
• If your home differs from what you entered, the business must ask you before changing the price.
• Some businesses prefer to send a quote. Then you see “Ask for a quote” instead of a price.

• GEENA order mixes four things: ratings from real visits (more reviews count more), how fast the business answers requests, how complete its profile is, and how recently it was updated.
• Businesses with the same score rotate each day.
• Nobody pays to show up first. Plan, deposits and showing prices don't change the order.
• You can also sort by price or by rating, and filter by what matters to you.
• When GEENA picks businesses for a quote request, it uses the same order, spreads requests fairly and saves a spot for a newer business.

Verified on GEENA: a real business using GEENA with a phone confirmed by code or at least 3 visits recorded in GEENA. Reviews come only from clients of those visits. GEENA doesn't run background checks or check licenses. Insurance is declared by the business unless marked as checked.

• Badges like pets OK, eco products or same team are declared by the business.
• Insurance is declared by the business unless it's marked as checked by GEENA.

Only clients of completed GEENA visits can rate, and every client gets the same invite. Businesses can't offer anything for a review.

GEENA removes a review or a comment only when it is:

• Personal information
• Offensive, harassing or obscene
• Discriminatory
• Confidential information
• Clearly false or misleading
• Fake or not from a real client
• Not about this business

The same rules apply to every star rating. Removed reviews are counted on each profile.

The business can reply in public. It can't hide or delete a review. Reviews are never paid for or rewarded.

Nothing here limits your right to post an honest review.

• Businesses can't refuse you or charge you differently because of race, color, national origin, language, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, citizenship or immigration status.
• Filters are about the business (pets, products, languages), never about you.
• No pay per lead, no credits, no paying to rank.
• Each request goes to at most 5 businesses, and each business sends at most one quote.

GEENA Marketplace is a platform. The cleaning is done by the business you choose, which sets its prices and employs its team.

GEENA is not the employer of these businesses or their teams and doesn't direct their work.

• GEENA doesn't set prices, assign work or pay the businesses. Each business decides whether to send a quote.
• You pay the business directly. GEENA takes no fee on Marketplace bookings.
• When a deposit applies, it goes to the business by card through Stripe. GEENA never sees your card.

• Your agreement for the cleaning, its price and any tax is between you and the business you choose.
• You must be 18 or older to send a request or book.
• Give accurate home details. If the home differs, the business may ask to change the price, and it needs your OK.

What a business agrees to when it joins GEENA Marketplace.

• GEENA Marketplace is a technology platform. Your business stays independent: you set your prices, hire and pay your team and do the cleaning.
• GEENA charges no fee per lead or per booking, and nobody can pay to show up first. On the Free plan you send a limited number of quotes each month; paid plans send as many as you want.
• Your shown price comes from your own price list. A quote is your offer for that home. If the home is different from what the client entered, ask the client before changing the price.
• Reviews come only from clients of real visits. Send the review link to every client, never offer anything for a review, and never write or change a client's review. You can reply in public or report a review to GEENA; only GEENA removes a review, and only for the published reasons.
• You can't refuse a client or charge differently because of race, color, national origin, language, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, citizenship or immigration status.
• Use the client's name, phone and address only for the cleaning she chose. Text her only with her consent, from your own GEENA number.
• Badges and insurance you declare must be true. You can pause your listing at any time. GEENA may pause or suspend a listing that breaks these terms, and tells you why.
• The agreement for each cleaning, its price and any tax is between you and the client. GEENA can help when there is a problem.
